- 1) Skins that produce a lot of sebum by its
nature :
Because the sebaceous gland produces a lot of sebum,
the skin becomes oily, the pores expand, and lots
of acnes break out.
2) Expansion of the capacity of the sebaceous
gland at puberty :
The sebum-secretion capacity of a person suddenly
expands at puberty because of androgen, a hormone
that starts to be secreted from that point of time.
The excessive sebum produced during the period is
unable to go out of the skin pore completely and
accumulats in the sebaceous tissue of the hair follicle.
3) Excessive stress:
Stress is another factor that causes the secretion
of sebum to increase.
4) Menstruation and pregnancy:
Women who have acne breakouts during the menstrual
period are liable to develop acnes during pregnancy.
For the hormone progesterone is secreted in a large
amount during pregnancy.

- 1) Effects of androgen:
Sebum is secreted due to the effect of androgen,
which starts to be secreted at puberty. The sebum
is excreted out of the skin pore, and when androgen
exerts effects upon the skin, the keratinization
of the skin is promoted. This results in the thickening
of the keratin layer.
2) Acne germs:
People with oily skin not only produce a lot of
sebum but have many acne germs, which block the
pores and make the outbreak of acnes inevitable.

3) Infection of hair follicle worms:
This is not a problem when there are a few worms.
But when they increase, inflammations may occur
around the follicles, causing acnes.
4) Makeup:
One of the main causes of skin pore blockage among
women past puberty is makeup.

are made especially for treating them. Those soaps
contain ingredients to remove sebum and keratin.
They also excel in suppressing the growth of acne
germs.
For the reasons those soaps are effective in preventing

- ¨ç The skin is dark-colored and rough.
¨è The pores are large, and the skin tends to be
fluffy.
¨é The keratin layer is thick and rather sticky.
¨ê Much sebum is secreted, and the acne is easy to
break out.
¨ë Makeups get wiped off easily.
